L2 Artists is pleased to announce eight new additions to its international roster of artists.
Finnish‑American Conductor Ari Pelto is in demand across opera, symphonic, and ballet stages worldwide. His career includes acclaimed work from London’s Royal Opera to the New National Theatre Tokyo. Upcoming engagements include symphonic programs and concert opera with Sacramento, Macbeth and Così fan tutte at Opera Colorado, and The Nutcracker with Atlanta Ballet. He is currently Music Director for Opera Colorado and is Principal Conductor and Artistic Advisor for Sacramento Philharmonic and Opera.
Mezzo‑soprano Catherine Martin has built a notable career across Verdi, Wagner, Strauss, and contemporary American opera. A frequent guest artist with The Metropolitan Opera and Lyric Opera of Chicago, she has appeared in roles ranging from Sister Helen Prejean and Eboli to Waltraute and Hécube. Recent performances include Santuzza with Sacramento Philharmonic and the District Attorney in The Central Park Five with Detroit Opera.
Bass‑baritone Kyle Albertson is known for his commanding Wagnerian portrayals with companies including San Francisco Opera, Lyric Opera of Chicago, the Dallas Symphony, LA Philharmonic, and Oper Graz. His career includes multiple Metropolitan Opera productions and a wide range of leading roles across both contemporary and standard repertoire nationwide.
Mezzo‑soprano Alice Chung is known for her expressive range across standard and contemporary repertoire, with acclaimed performances from Amneris in Aida for Boston Lyric Opera to the title role in Carmen with Hawai‘i Opera Theatre. She has created roles in multiple world premieres with companies including OperaDelaware and Houston Grand Opera.
Mezzo‑soprano Lisa Marie Rogali has appeared in leading roles with companies including Virginia Opera, Detroit Opera, and Central City Opera, highlighted by portrayals of Carmen and Rosina. Recent performances include Angelina in La Cenerentola, the Offred Double in The Handmaid’s Tale, and concert appearances with orchestras from Asheville to New Jersey.
Baritone Geonho Lee from South Korea is a second‑year Butler Studio artist at Houston Grand Opera. In the 2025–26 season he made his HGO debut as Marco in Gianni Schicchi, with additional roles including William Dale in Silent Night and Peter in Hansel and Gretel. A 2024 Operalia semifinalist, he previously trained in Munich and at Seoul National University.
Bass Andrew Potter is known for his commanding stage presence and resonant voice, with recent appearances as Panthée at Seattle Opera, Angelotti with the Richmond Symphony, and the Commendatore at Opera Omaha. This season he returned to the Metropolitan Opera to cover Timur in Turandot and appears with New Orleans Opera, Nashville Opera, Dallas Opera, and Opera Omaha.
Conductor Johannes Witt has quickly built an international profile, leading performances at major European houses including the Wiener Staatsoper, Finnish National Opera, Norwegian National Opera, Dutch National Opera, and the Royal Danish Opera. He has developed a wide‑ranging opera, symphonic, and ballet repertoire and maintains an active concert career.
